This is from 2009 so some of the numbers are higher than they are today (at least the “official” unemployment numbers are lower today than in the video). The numbers have come down a bit, which is a good thing. I hope that they come down more and faster. However, I’m still in the pessimistic camp on that. Anyway, I think that the video is funny as well as accurate in the explanation as to how unemployment rates are actually “determined”.
