Apparently nowadays if you agree to pay back stolen money you don’t go to jail.

At least this appears to be the case in Laurel where taxpayer money was stolen.

Now Greg Lavelle did raise an interesting point in his latest missive to Ag Beau; which is why exactly is this being allowed?

In prison’s all over America people are jailed for stealing money.

Isn’t this discriminatory or at the very least unfair? As witnessed in Laurel all you have to do is promise to pay it back to avoid jail.

Where’s the liberal outrage?  Or why hasn’t the ACLU filed a class action suit on behalf of these prisoner’s?
