The Delaware Democratic Party has announced a new logo. The Obama circle with the “D” (which has always reminded me of a public parking sign) has been replaced with a chicken. It’s a blue hen of course, but it’s still a chicken.
The chicken’s rear-end is red, so perhaps the little fellow is upset about something?
Democrats don’t really have much to be upset about in Delaware. They hold just about every statewide office and their registration numbers & campaign funds look good for November. (I guess that’s why they have time to fiddle with their logo.)
It’s more likely that the chicken is upset about the designer misspelling “Democratic” in the logo. Looks like someone dropped the ball in the proofreading department.
Looks like there’s a sleeper cell at work inside the Delaware Democratic party. That logo has to go. Or change the whole name to the Chicken Party.
The proof reader was taught that 2+2 sometimes equals 5 and that there is no wrong way to spell Democratic.
It should be pointed out that the image of a “Blue Hen” is actually the image of a blue “Rooster” #justsayin
