Well now last night the President intoned that he doesn’t quit.
Tres Bon Magnfique was the mindset I am sure. Once the voters once again see that TOTUS and I are here they will be resilient once again in their support.
However we will soon see other’s quitting as in Blue Dog’s looking at the very nice pension with a whole new ardor, now that they have heard the Commander in Chief announce that he will not falter nor waiver but instead fight for his agenda.
We will also see nations such as China soon quit on buying up our debt. This will cause immense inflation. This will cause people on fixed incomes to quit voting Democrat which will hurt them big time because seniors always vote.
We will also see the first time voters swept away on the lofty and puffy cloud of change become so disillusioned that they will quit voting as well.
I could go on.
Last night what we saw wasn’t the pragmatism that comes with successful politicians, we saw instead the immaturity of a man denied nothing, ever and therefore cannot roll with the rough and tumble of dealing with 535 congressmen.
The President may not be quitting but others sure are.
I fully agree with the President’s statement to our elected officials; “We face a deficit of trust–deep and corrosive doubts about how Washington works…” I would add; “Delaware.”
